Biography

A former pupil of St Aelreds High School, Alex has already made the step up to senior rugby in the frenetic atmosphere of a Challenge Cup-tie against Wigan Warriors - having been with the Vikings for four years previously.

 

Alex's quiet nature off the pitch belies an uncompromising attitude on it supported by a great appetite for work.

 

Gerrard acquitted himself well in his first season of top flight rugby league, having been called upon on eight occasions in 2012 and is sponsored by Izzy's Busy for the 2013 Super League season.
