Biography

A product of Wigan's Academy, Ben initially joined the Vikings on loan at the start of 2008 but Widnes soon made 'Kav' a permanent addition to the squad.

 

Since then he has played in over 100 games including an impressive unbroken run of 72 appearances which is testimony to both his consistent performances and fitness levels.

 

One of only two players still at the club who 'ticked tthe box' back in 2009, Ben became the first player to sign a Super League contract for 2012.

 

Rupturing an Achilles tendon in the third match of the 2012 season, Ben eventually made a successful return to action for the last three games of the campaign and is sponsored by Widnes Vikings Supporters Club in 2013.
