Born in Wagga Wagga, Ben made his senior debut with Canberra Raiders and went on to make a total of 95 NRL appearances for his three clubs - including two Grand Finals.
A member of the losing Melbourne team in 2006, Ben was part of the Storm's victorious team in 2007, having also won representative honours for New South Wales Country side.
In 2008, Ben went on to represent his State in the Origin series before joining Leeds in 2011.
Subsequently released by Leeds in mid-season it was simultaneously announced that he had signed for the Vikings for 2012, while joining Wigan for the remainder of 2011.
The highlight of 2012 for Ben was undoubtedly scoring his first senior try, in his 125th senior appearance.
Ben is sponsored by Vikings Quids-In (VIQI) for the 2013 Super League season.
