Arriving at Widnes via Blackbrook and West Bank Bears, Danny went on to make a seamless transition from Academy to First Team player, scoring two goals as a substitute in the televised match at Whitehaven.
Danny displayed a confidence and maturity beyond his years and experience as his debut season saw him finish with 5 tries and 23 goals from 8 appearances at fullback, including a ‘Sky' Man of the Match performance against Sheffield Eagles.
After an injury interrupted 2011, Danny scored the opening try of 2012 and demonstrated that Super League rugby held no fears for him as his 18 appearances included several consummate performances. Craven collected the 'Young Player of the Year' award following his efforts in a Vikings jersey last year.
Danny Craven is sponsored by Cronton Sixth Form College for the 2013 Super League season.
