Competition Winners

NHS Halton and St. Helens Health Improvement Team ran an Anti-Bullying competition recently, for pupils in Year 6, across ten Primary Schools.

The competition itself was linked to 'Anti-Bullying Week' which took place last November and children were asked to come up with Anti-Bullying messages that would be used on 'special' pens that all Year 6 children from the School which took part would receive.

Four winners were chosen overall, with the Halton entries judged by Angela Beesley from the Health Improvement Team and both John Foran and Tim Holmes from the Vikings.

And, you'll be pleased to hear that two of the winning entries, were from Halton Schools, and the winners were ELLIS MITCHELL from SIMMS CROSS, whose message was, "Don't delete...Defeat!" and MALCOLM TURNER from WESTON PRIMARY, whose entry was, "Bullies Never Win!"

Both of the Winners received Family Tickets for the Match against Barrow, courtesy of the Widnes Vikings and an 'Ipod' donated by 'The Health Improvement Team'.
