Valhalla Foundation praised at Anti-Bullying Conference

The Halton Safeguarding Board held its annual Anti-Bullying Conference at the Stobart Stadium Halton last week and the Vikings' Valhalla Foundation was well in evidence.

During the conference, which was addressed by renowned national as well as regional figures, the work of the Valhalla Foundation was praised for its involvement with young people in this sensitive area. (Congratulations to John Foran, Ben Morris and the various Vikings players who have delivered the project in recent years).

For many years, the Valhalla Foundation has been supporting schools and their children using their "Vikings against Bullying" project and the reviews and evaluations have been of the highest order.

The Valhalla Foundation is now an official partner of the Halton Safeguarding Board's Anti-bullying group and will be hosting the next prestigious meeting of the group.

Primary schools throughout Halton will soon be given the opportunity to bid for involvement in the next phase of the VAB project.
