Our Lady's Primary School Runcorn
Valhalla Diary update by Ben Morris
Our Lady's Primary School of Runcorn enjoyed their first taste of rugby league this week (Mon 13 June). Ben Morris and John Foran from the community team put the pupils through their paces, testing their handling, tackling and co-ordination skills.
From a predominately football area the year 6 kids showed great understanding with bags of enthusiasm.
After having learnt the core skills of rugby they were put into practice in a high scoring match. During the game there was plenty to be excited about with lots of great tackles and direct running and any spectator would not have been able to tell it was there first time playing. Well done guys!
