St Bede's School visit
Valhalla Diary update by Kathryn Sanger
Pupils from St Bede's school took part in a morning of rugby this Wednesday.
Boys and girls from years' five and six battled it out in two sessions of activities such as tackling and passing, ending in a proper game of rugby.
John and Ben taught the pupils to pass the ball while running in a line, which proved that girls can be better than boys at multi-tasking.
Pupils also learned how to properly tackle shields, which the girls were a little more squeamish about, but the boys got stuck in... including Ben!
There was lots of laughter throughout the morning from both boys and girls.
