Skipping Strongy

On Saturday, Matthew Strong took time out of his normal training schedule to train with 120 cubs.

He went along with Tim to the Heath Business Park to help them with their annual 'Health Day'. Throughout the day the cubs took part in karate, golf, shot putt, street dance and many other activities run by different professionals and volunteers. The day culminated with all 120 cubs taking part in a sponsored skip in support of the British Heart Foundation.

The boys and girls had to skip for 10 minutes non stop (or as close to it as possible) in order to complete their task and even Strongy and Tim took part!!

The whole day was a huge success and the Valhalla Foundation want to thank Dianne Lewis for putting on such a well organised event and inviting us to be a part of it, even raising money for a very worthy cause too!!

In the picture is ADC Cub Leader Dianne Lewis and the longest ever serving volunteer for the British Heart foundation who has raised over £250,000 for the organisation.
