Northern Rail visited two local schools recently, as already reported on, to show them the Northern Rail Cup that Widnes Vikings are currently competing for.

The schools were asked to take part in a competition to design a new futuristic train for the Northern Rail company.

The winners of this competition won family tickets to the Widnes vs. Barrow last Thursday night, where they were also invited onto the pitch at half time to be presented with a goody bag!!
