Widnes Vikings are inviting supporters to join the club in watching next Saturday’s Toronto Wolfpack clash at the Halton Stadium, as they aim to get as many supporters as possible Watching Widnes Away, from Home.

The Round 3 Betfred Championship fixture will be taking place at Newcastle Thunder’s Kingston Park on Saturday 16th February and will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

For members and supporters who can’t make the trip to Newcastle, the Vikings will be holding a function within the Sports360 Hall of Fame Lounge with pre and post-match entertainment taking place. The aim of the event is to create a match-day experience and replicate the incredible atmosphere from the 40-16 victory over Halifax on the opening weekend of the season.

The importance of the positivity created by supporters during the Vikings’ round one win can’t be underestimated, as it played a huge role in the manner of the result on the day. With a conscious effort being made to bring the club and the valued supporters and members closer together, this is the latest attempt at rebuilding that relationship back to where it should be.

The event will begin at 4pm, with non-playing members of the Vikings First Team on hand to provide pre-game insight to those in attendance, before the game will be shown on the big screen.

You can show your support for the club and Kieron Purtill’s men during this huge clash, with drinks offers available and half-time snacks being served.

Following the full-time whistle, a race night and disco will take place in order to raise vital funds for the club, and hopefully bring the curtain down on a hugely successful day on and off the field.

This is a great opportunity for supporters who are unable to attend the Toronto fixture to come together and create a great atmosphere within the home of the Vikings, before the team returns to Widnes for back-to-back home games.

Tickets for this event are priced at just £5, and include entrance into the exclusive event, pre-match interviews with Vikings first team members, big screen coverage of the game, half-time snacks and post-match entertainment with a race night and disco.

There are only 300 places available, so to secure your place at the event call 0151 495 2250 or book online by CLICKING HERE.
