Widnes Vikings back rower, Chris Dean, says he is looking to kick on for the rest of The Qualifiers following his return from injury into the side in recent weeks.

Dean, who has made over 150 appearances in a Widnes shirt, had been sidelined for months following an injury sustained against Wakefield Trinity earlier in the season. However, after a full recovery, Dean returned against Castleford Tigers in Round 23, before scoring against London Broncos last weekend.

KEY QUOTES:

On his return from injury - "The injury has been fine and there's been no problems. The first game was a little hard on the lungs, but last week it was a lot better and I'm looking forward to kicking on for the rest of the year."

On lifting the mood after London - "It's easy for us to sit here and be negative all week but we can't do that. We've got to be positive and get back on the horse. Training has been good, so preperation is going well."

On Salford and The Qualifiers - "It's a tough game, as they all are now. We've got to turn up every week and get the result that we need."
