O’Neills Irish Sportswear are celebrating ten years as the official kit supplier to Widnes Vikings.

In this time, the Gaelic giants have produced over thirty different kits for the Club, all of which will hold their own significant memories to the Club's Members and supporters.

From the Northern Rail Cup Winning year, which witnessed the Club effectively ticking the box for their Super League application in a black and white home kit and ‘Electric Yellow’ away, to the ‘Green for Go’ shirt launched upon the application being successful and Widnes returning to the top flight of Rugby League.

Then there is an array of charity shirts that have helped to raise a tremendous amount of funds and profile for the likes of Everyman, the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation and of course the Club's late lifelong mascot, Charlie Rimmer, who was invited to join O’Neill’s at their head office and design her own shirt which would be worn in a televised game against Wigan Warriors.

All the shirts are now available to purchase directly from O’Neills official webstore. Shirts will be manufactured to order and will be produced as a design garment only (No partner branding).

Neil Williams, UK Sales Manager for O’Neills commented:

“We have enjoyed ten great years with the Vikings. They were our first Super League Club and together I believe we have created some fantastic garments and designs whilst pushing the boundaries of innovation.

“I think that when fans talk about a favourite player or memorable moment, in their minds they remember it happen in a certain kit and I would hope that the re-launch of all our shirts will allow Widnes fans the opportunity remember some significant moments in the last ten years.”
