Widnes Vikings are proud to announce the continuation of its partnership with Club partners Rinnai UK on a number of community campaigns in 2018.

Fresh from the backing of the hugely successful ‘One Club My Vikings’ initiative throughout 2017, which showcased the stories of several community project participants, Rinnai UK will be sponsoring the Club’s ‘Dream Maker’ and ‘Match Day Experience’ activities this coming season.

Commercial and Community Director of the Vikings, Richard Munson, spoke about the projects when saying, "Firstly, I would like to thank Tony Gittings and Chris Goggin from Rinnai UK for their continued support of the Vikings' work in the community.

"We are especially excited to align the Rinnai brand with two really exciting projects for 2018 in ‘Dream Maker’ and the ‘Match Day Experience'.

"‘Dream Maker’ will offer the chance for a child and their family, who have just encountered a particularly difficult period in their lives, the chance to experience a Vikings match day like no other involving hospitality and exclusive behind the scenes access.

"The ‘Match Day Experience’ aimed towards local schools and community clubs was a real highlight in 2017, with over 1500 young people taking part in pre-match and half time activities. Plans are in place to make this even bigger this season with community clubs travelling from across the country to take part in competitions against our local teams."

Chris Goggin, Associate Director from Rinnai UK said, "Following the success of 'One Club My Vikings' in 2017, we are keen to once again partner Widnes Vikings with their community activities.

"A strong belief of the Rinnai group is “involvement and inclusiveness”, which is a synergy clearly shared by Widnes Vikings.

"We have learnt over the past season that the Vikings 'community', from players, Club staff and supportes is a special group with strong values and a real sense of togetherness.

"'Dream Maker' and the 'Match Day Experience' are ways that we are 'involving' and 'including', but principally they are a vehicle to say thank you to your very special community."
