The Vikings Sports Foundation is pleased to announce that it’s ‘Future Stars’ project has been chosen for the next round of the Co-op Local Community Fund.

‘Future Stars’ is a weekly programme supporting children to participate in Rugby League and dance activities in local schools and at Halton Stadium. Every time Co-op members shop in their local store, 1% of what they spend on selected Co-Op own brand products and services will go into the local fund, which will be shared by the Vikings Sports Foundation and two other local charities.

The fund launched on 12th November and will run until the 27th October 2018. Participating stores supporting the Vikings Sports Foundation are located in Ditton, Upton Rocks, and Hale Bank.

Richard Munson, Community and Commercial Director at the Vikings commented, “The Vikings Sports Foundation relies on the support of local businesses and grant opportunities to deliver much needed projects in the community. We are delighted that our ‘Future Stars’ projects has been selected for the Community Fund and hope that members choose to support our cause in store.”
