Manuokafoa delight at Vikings effort

7th September 2017

Manase Manuokafoa was delighted with the effort shown by the Vikings in last weekend's win over Leigh Centurions, before speaking about his departure at the season's end.

The prop forward will be departing the Vikings at the end of the 2017 season to head to France to play his rugby, so the Vikings media team caught up with the prop forward following the victory over the Centurions.

On Leigh win -
"It was a great win, and we grinded it out. We stuck to our game plan, and both the forwards and backs did their jobs and we were glad for the two points. I’m a bit battered and bruised but the win makes you feel a lot better."

On leaving Widnes - "I’ve made some great friends here, this Club has been great to me and my family. It’s a great town Widnes, and it’s a one town team. The boys, and all the staff stick together, and they opened their arms out to us and we’ve never regretted coming here."
