Offload To Re-Launch

6th September 2017

Widnes Vikings are launching a new ten-week set of fixtures for Offload, the fantastic Rugby-League based programme that gives men new tools and inspiration to build their mental resilience.

The first set of sessions were described as "truly life changing" and "a brilliant experience" by participants. You have the chance to be part of this next programme, which re-launches on Tuesday 3rd October from 6.30pm-8.00pm.

Offload is led by former Rugby League players and other members of the Rugby League community, including coaches and referees. They share their experiences of managing the stresses of difficult moments in their lives, and provide vital advice on how to stay mentally resilient.

The sessions are fun, relaxed and interactive - and give participants unique experiences, such as the opportunity to train in the Vikings Performance Centre.

Offload is free and open to all men aged 16+ -65. Participants don't need any interest in or knowledge of rugby league to benefit, as the course is accessible to everyone. People are welcome to drop into any sessions, and can join in at any stage if they're unable to make the programme's kick off.

Offload sessions in Widnes take place every Tuesday evening 6.30pm til 8.00pm at the Halton Stadium. For more information call 0151 495 2250 (option 4) or email

Offload is delivered in partnership with the independent charity Rugby League Cares.
