Widnes Vikings take on Hull FC at the Halton Stadium on Sunday 7th May. The Vikings will be looking to record back-to-back home wins for the first time in 2017 following the Club's 16-14 win against St Helens two weeks ago.

Squad News 

The Vikings make a number of changes to their 19-man squad that took on Salford Red Devils as Sam Brooks, Greg Burke, Ted Chapelhow, Jordan Johnstone, Tom Olbison and Corey Thompson are replaced by Chris Bridge, Jay Chapelhow, Rhys Hanbury, Ryan Ince, Aaron Heremaia and Danny Walker.

Denis Betts’ side head into this game with the desire to record their second home win in succession as a Patrick Ah Van brace helped the Vikings to a 16-14 win in front of the Sky cameras two weeks ago. 

The Airlie Birds are once again going well under the leadership of Head Coach Lee Radford. The away side will be wanting to record their 4th win on the bounce following their impressive home victory aginst Warrington the previous week. Hull will be wanting to consolodate their position in 2nd place in the Betfred Super League this weekend.

Previous Meetings

Hull FC hold the bragging rights in the recent meetings between the two sides, having won five of the last six games in which these teams have played each other. 

In 2016, the Vikings were twice beaten out of three attempts by Hull FC, once in the regular season and once in the Super League Super 8s. However, the most memorable recent meeting between the pair for Vikings supporters would be the 46-6 victory in March, in which a Corey Thompson brace and a hat-trick from Stefan Marsh

If selected, Patrick Ah Van will be making his 100th appearance for Widnes Vikings.  

If selected, Tom Gilmore needs just 3 points to pass 100 in his career to date.

If selected, Stefan Marsh will pass 250 points in Super League.
