The monthly Chemics Café returns to the Select Security Stadium on Wednesday morning in the Halton Suite.

Chemics Café is a unique free monthly event that is done in conjunction with local care charity Community Integrated Care, and aims to support people who live with dementia and their loved ones, by giving them practical advice as well opportunities to socialise, have fun and reminisce about special Widnes Vikings moments.

Sessions are led by Community Integrated Care’s specialist dementia team and the Vikings Sports Foundation. Every event features contributions from a Vikings legend and dementia specialists, who give people vital advice to support living well with the condition.

This month’s session will involve a tea and coffee social, as well as plenty of reminiscence surrounding Widnes memories of previous years through the help of trophies, shirts and memorabilia. Further to this, plenty of former Widnes players including George Nicholls will be in attendance at the event, along with Vikings first team member Olly Ashall.

Chemics Café is key for those attending to capture the fantastic stories and memories that supporters have of their time following Widnes.

Chemics Café will take place in the Halton Suite at the Select Security Stadium and takes place between 11-12:30pm.
