Vikings release duo
Widnes Vikings today confirm the release of two members of their 2012 squad.
Back rower Kurt Haggerty, who made his Vikings debut midway through the 2010 Co-operative Championship season and front rower John Kite, who joined the club ahead of last season, having previously played for both Canterbury Bulldogs and Melbourne Storm in the NRL, will both move on to pastures new for the 2013 season.
In his time spent in a Vikings shirt, Haggerty made 42 appearances, scored 9 tries and converted 9 goals, whilst Kite made 15 appearances and crossed the line for 1 try.
