Widnes Vikings new CEO, James Rule, has revealed to the Liverpool Echo his ambitions for the club;

"The key objective is for us to be spending up to the maximum Salary Cap.

"Following on from that, we want to have the best infrastructure, resources and staff in both the performance and administration department to allow us to deliver what our fans want - a successful team on the field."
