Third time lucky for the Vikings?

 

Tickets for the Vikings final fixture of the 2012 Stobart Super League season against arch rivals Warrington Wolves are now on general sale from the club shop, situated at Stadium Fitness.

 

The Wolves are in town for the first time since 2005 in competitive Rugby League, although this is the third meeting of the season between the two clubs.

 

The question is...will this be third time lucky for the Vikings?

 

This match has been anticipated by Vikings fans everywhere for much of the 2012 season and what better time to take on the old enemy than in our last game of the year and on the i-pitch.

Your collective Vikings support throughout this season has been outstanding; from enduring the arctic conditions on the opening night against Wakefield Trinity Wildcats and Hull KR soon after, to our home victories over table-topping Wigan Warriors, London Broncos, Huddersfield Giants, Castleford Tigers and Hull FC. Not forgetting our inaugural 2012 away victory over Salford City Reds.

 

The Vikings will be looking to continue their recent form at the "fortress" that is the Stobart Stadium Halton and finish the campaign with a flourish by winning two home matches on the spin?

The Wolves however, are flying high in both League and Cup football this year, but can the Vikings claim yet another huge scalp and topple another Grand Final contender?
